H&K Ranks 24th Among Nation's Top 100 Crushed Stone Producers Skippack, PA – In late June, 2023, The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) released its list of the “Top 100 Producers of Crushed Stone in the United States.” Skippack, PA based H&K Group, Inc. (H&K) ranked 24th for production year 2021, climbing from 25th in the Nation one year prior.

This information was released by USGS Commodity Specialist, Jason Christopher Willett, and lists the leading U.S. construction materials/crushed stone producing companies in descending order of tonnage output for the year 2021. According to USGS, more than 1.51 billion metric tons of crushed stone were produced across the U.S. in 2021. USGS estimates that 2021 tonnage to be valued at $19.81 billion. Production was up 3.4 percent that year – an increase from the 1.46 billion metric tons produced in 2020.
