RECLAMATION FILL (SOIL & ROCK) - INBOUND
H&K Group, Inc. (H&K) is committed to preserving our environment and conserving natural resources. By recycling construction materials, we reduce the disposal of usable products into landfills, where space is limited. Our recycling facilities operate under Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) guidelines, and H&K strives to be good neighbors in the communities that we serve.
Our Reclamation Fill locations accept soil, dirt, and other materials deemed to be reclamation fill by the PADEP. Our asphalt plants accept asphalt millings and broken asphalt chunks that are then recycled into new asphalt products. Some of our quarries accept concrete and block, which can be recycled into road base material.
These are just a few of the ways we show our concern and interest in preserving our environment and being a proactive participant in improving the communities in which we both live and serve.
H&K has multiple locations that accept reclamation fill material. Reclamation fill tipping is an activity that is heavily regulated by the PADEP. Reclamation fill can be any of the following: uncontaminated soil rock, stone, used asphalt, unpainted brick, and block and concrete. The receiving facility has the right to reject any materials for any reason or no reason whatsoever, with or without cause.
