Dushore Materials Now Open by Appointment Only for Winter
Skippack, PA - The H&K Group announced today that Dushore Materials will be closed for the winter at the end of business today. Customer calls and needs will be forwarded and serviced by nearby H&K Group affiliate, Pikes Creek Asphalt & Crushed Stone in Hunlock Creek, PADushore Materials will open by appointment as necessary to service customers’ crushed stone needs and will resume normal business operating hours in Spring 2013. The exact date will be announced at a later time.

New Hours for Quarry and Asphalt Locations
Skippack, PA - The H&K Group announced new operating hours today for the majority of their crushed stone quarries and asphalt plants. Attached is a .pdf chart outlining the new hours by location. Hours are flexible at all locations and can be scheduled outside of the operating hours if necessary. The H&K Group Ranked 21st Crushed Stone Producer Nationally.
Rock Products reports that The H&K Group ranks 21st on The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) list of the top 100 crushed stone producers in the country. The USGS prepares a list of the top crushed stone producers in terms of tonnage produced annually. This designation continues The H&K Group’s ranking as a Top 25 crushed stone producer, as it ranked 21st and 23rd nationally in 2010 and 2009 respectively. Unseasonably Warm Weather Keeps Asphalt Plants Open
Hunlock Creek, PA – Around this time of year in the Mid-Atlantic region, asphalt plants are usually shut down and workers are laid off due to the cold winter months, but not this year.
