Philadelphia, PA - On September 20th, 2021, Haines & Kibblehouse, Inc. (H&K, Inc.) made history by performing the first in-house concrete slipform pour on the I-95 project in Philadelphia, PA. Three new machines, made by GOMACO, were acquired by H&K Group, Inc. (H&K) and placed into service on this high-profile project. These machines consist of the RTP-500 rubber-tracked placer, the GP3 slipform paver and the T/C-600 texture/cure machine. This new and state-of-the-art equipment will allow H&K, Inc. to become more competitive in the construction and reconstruction of the heavy highway/transportation sectors.
The I-95 project consists of the reconstruction of SR 95 and SR 100 (Tacony Street) which is approximately 2.9 miles in length.
