Skippack, PA – The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has recently unveiled its list of the "Top 100 Producers of Crushed Stone in the United States," and H&K Group, Inc. (H&K) ranked 26th for the production year 2022, a slight decline from its 24th position in the previous year.
This information recently came to light through a February 6th article penned by Kevin Yanik for Pit & Quarry Magazine. The article delineates the foremost U.S. construction materials and crushed stone producing companies, arranged in descending order of tonnage output for the year 2022, as reported by the USGS. According to the USGS, the aggregate production of crushed stone across the U.S. exceeded 1.55 billion metric tons in 2022, with an estimated value of $22 billion. This marked a 2.6 percent increase from the previous reporting period in 2021, during which 1.51 billion metric tons were produced.
