Rahns Concrete Donation Helps to Complete Memorial Pavilion

Rahns, PA – Rahns Concrete, ready mix concrete supplier and precast concrete manufacturer, including colored concrete, recently donated the ready mix concrete to help complete a Memorial Pavilion, located on the grounds of Patricia A. Guth Elementary School in Perkasie, Pennsylvania.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony took place at the pavilion on Wednesday, June 2, and included friends and family of those that the pavilion is dedicated to, as well as Guth Faculty, PTA members, community members and representatives of the several organizations that helped to bring the pavilion to completion.
The pavilion is dedicated in honor of Melody Nichols and in memory of Roy Hager. Melody Nichols served as Principal for 10 years at Guth Elementary School, located within the Pennridge School District. Roy Hager was a past president and prominent figure in the Perkasie Rotary Club who passed away in 2008. The Perkasie Rotary Club became involved with the project when they were contacted by the Guth Elementary School PTA. The club has assisted other local organizations in the construction of similar pavilions.
Rahns’ concrete contribution filled the base and provided the flooring for the pavilion, which will house several picnic tables, and will serve as an outdoor classroom.
Rahns Concrete has been a proud member of The H&K Group Family of Companies since 1974. They currently serve eastern PA and NJ from 8 locations, with a wide array of ready mix and precast concrete products, including concrete retaining wall block, grout and mortar and colored concrete.
