Boy Scouts To Co Honor Haines Execs At 56th Century Club Dinner Skippack, PA – The Cradle of Liberty Council, Boy Scouts of America (BSA) recently announced that they will co-honor Scott B. Haines and James T. Haines at their 56th Annual Malcolm A. Schweiker Century Club Dinner on November 17, 2015. The dinner, held each fall at Indian Valley Country Club in Telford, PA, recognizes local business leaders for their selfless dedication and support of the community, for their leadership of local organizations, and for the respect and esteem the honorees hold in the business community.

Although The Cradle of Liberty Council typically honors an individual business leader at its Century Club Dinner each fall, this year’s "Good Scout" award is unique in that it will be co-presented to brothers Scott B. Haines and James T. Haines, who respectively fill the President/Chief Executive Officer, and the Chief Operating Officer positions at Skippack, PA based H&K Group, Inc. (H&K). Having literally grown up in the heavy civil construction and site contracting arena, the Haines brother’s share a deep passion for their company, their business sector, their employees and the community and both exemplify the ideals expressed within BSA Scout Oath and Law. Over their 35-year business relationship, Scott and Jim Haines have forged a unique and successful bond that has not only translated to success in the boardroom, but also gained the respect and admiration of their colleagues, employees and business community. These credentials position the Haines brothers to lead H&K into its next half-century of business excellence.

On November 17, the Haines brothers will share "Good Scout" honors with their father, Founder and Co-Chairman of The Board, John B. Haines IV and his partner and Co-Chairman, John R. "Jack" Kibblehouse, who were co-honored back in 2006 at this same event. Other recent recipients of this award include Michael Browne, Butch Clemens, Jack Clemens, Ken Clemens, Walter Daller Jr., Raymond DeHont, Tim Hendricks, Bob Swartley, Rob Wonderling, Tom Leidy, Jay Glickman and most recently, Sanford L. Alderfer. John B. Haines IV will co-chair the 56th Century Club Dinner event with associate, pervious honoree and Clemens Family Corporation executive, Ken Clemens.

The Century Club Dinner was first started by Malcolm A. Schweiker, the founder and Chairman of Olean Tile Co. in Lansdale, PA to engage the local business leaders in a dinner to support Scouting. The dinner continues to benefit Scouts in the Harleysville, Lansdale, Souderton, Hatfield and surrounding PA communities. The Cradle of Liberty Council, BSA currently serves over 16,500 boys and girls in Montgomery, Delaware and Philadelphia Counties.
